On a bright and cool December morning, crews from Donelson’s very own Enviro-Scrapes arrived at McGavock High School to offer a gift from the community…a landscaping face lift. The team immediately got to work, digging holes for over a dozen large river birch and crepe myrtles. Work was done in and around the entire front entrance facing McGavock Pike. Additional flower beds will be added soon as well as landscaping around the school’s main entrance sign. The project was initiated by former DGP President and current Dist 15 Council Member Jeff Syracuse. Over $10,000 was donated by community and corporate sponsors.
